This is a collection of modern songs done in a old French style, sung by this guy who is 88 years old. At least that is what I gathered from the translation of the Wikipedia page.

A great collaboration between Emmanuelle Seigner and Ultra Orange. It rocks more than her solo record, and is great!
Paris Motel - In The Salpetriere
This is so great. It is baroque chamber pop, with great lyrics about myths and stuff. Beautiful, sweeping, cinematic.
Cloetta Paris - Secret Eyes
An electro-pop duo from Sweden. It’s got that euro-electro-indie sound I dig.
Daphne - Carmin
This is a great album. I almost want to say that it is sort of how those classic 60’s French girls I love would sound if they were being made today. Does that make sense? No matter. I love it!
Alfa Rococo - Lever L’Ancre
Their earlier album isn’t quite as good, but certainly has those elements that I like!
Alex Beaupain - Les Chansons d’Amour
This is the soundtrack to the movie. It is a sort of musical, where the characters sing sort of naturally. I saw the movie and kind of hated it. it was just weird and creepy and pointless to me. I still liked the music though, and this soundtrack was good.
Agnes Bihl - Demandez Le Programme
Even better! A great collection of songs, with different sounds and fun stuff like that.
Lindi Ortega - Fall From Grace
Looking for her new album, I found this older one. It is pretty good and certainly shows where she would go on from there.
The Real D’Coy - The Real D’Coy
This is a band of ducks. One of them is Cassidy Freeman from Smallville and stuff. Then there is her brother and another guy. But they are ducks. This is a good album, kind of alternative or something. Reminded me of 20 Minute Loop if you can compare 2 obscure bands…
