Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Space Vampire

So dumb. Buck and Wilma arrive on a space station. They are about to leave when a mysterious ship crashes into the station. Everyone on the ship is dead. There is a video of the last woman to die, just like Serenity! Buck instantly goes to the vampire theory just because they have neck abrasions and are sort of not dead. Turns out he is right! Just look at that creepy guy! To kill him, they send him hurtling towards the sun! Then everyone is ok.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Cruise Ship To The Stars

Buck goes to The Love Boat in space. He has to protect Ms. Cosmos, a mega space hottie. She is about to be laser sliced for her DNA by a pair of thieves, one of which is a woman who switches back and forth between a strong lady and a weak little thing. Buck figures it out and saves the day. Twiki meets a girl robot and it is so stupid!!! She goes boodyboodyboody. He goes beedybeedybeedy. Also, disco is alive and well 500 years into the future, only they dance with ropes and column thingies and other props. Wilma goes undercover as a socialite.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Escape From Wedded Bliss

Princess Ardala returns! Princess Ardala returns! This time she has her eyes set on Buck (why?) and demands that he marry her or she will destroy earth!!! After trying to run and get help from a guy in the woods, he has to go up to her ship, but keeps a tracker/transmitter thingy. He eventually escapes when Tiger Man returns Buck’s life-saving favor by protecting him from the wrath of the princess. This is the part where I mention the 70’s roller-disco troupe and make a brilliant joke about life in 500 years, but I will not stoop to that level.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Planet of the Amazon Women, Cosmic Whiz Kid

The first episode involved Buck getting lured onto a planet to be auctioned off to be a mate! He helps them get their own men back! Then all heck broke loose in the next episode, where Gary Coleman starred as a kid from our time who froze himself for 500 years. Ray Walston was also in it!

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Unchained Woman

Buck goes undercover at a prison to break out Jamie Lee Curtis! An android guard survives an explosion, a sand squid and more to chase them. They make it to a village and after betrayals and information passing around and fighting, the day is saved! I guess. I never really got the point.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Return of The Fighting 69th

For some reason, Wilma needs some old Peter Graves dude to blow up some place. He wants his other old teammates to help. Apparently, Wilma used to be with the team and was known as Dizzy D! It was sad when she thought he was dead. Luckily, he was ok, so I wasn’t scarred for life.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - The Plot To Kill A City

Another two-parter, this one involving a five-person team who want to destroy New Chicago. Buck pretends to be this bad guy and teams up with them. He befriends their masked associate and a “foxy” chick with crazy red criss-cross stuff going on. In the end, New Chicago is saved, but Buck’s homemade burgundy is not so lucky!

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Vegas In Space

Buck tries to help a girl who was kidnapped to a casino planet. He goes with another spacegirl called Marla instead of Wilma. I think there was kind of a twist but I don’t remember.

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Planet of The Slave Girls

In the second feature-length episode, Buck takes on a crazy Jack Palance guy who with an oblivious Roddy McDowell guy is running a slave operation. Wilma gets captured and puts on a sheet-dress of some sort and then there is a space battle. Fun fact: there us a guest pilot who is the original Buck Rogers from the 30’s. Pay not really close attention or you will miss the 3 minute winking at the camera about it! Beedy beedy beedy!

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century - Awakening

So I heard about this on the podcast Autopilot. I had dismissed the show as 80’s junk and it kind of is. That beedybeedybeedy robot is terrible, especially with his latter-day Mel Blanc voice. That said, I like some of the design elements, at least the ones that harken back to the old comic rather than the blatant Star Wars ripoffs. There was also a hot princess and Erin Gray is the dreamiest. She kinda looks like Kristen Bell to me. (Not in that picture above really). I might check put more of this series but that dang robot…
